Hi, thanks taking a moment to stop by, my name is Dan O'Connor. I have a Website called DanoSongs.com where people all over the world download my music and use it royalty free for their videos, games, films, photo galleries, Websites and hundreds of thousands also download just to listen to the songs.
I send out a song every week to subscribers of the site and I need to come up with really catchy tunes fast so I wrote down everything I have learned about writing songs over the past 20 years, in order to have a reference to use. Then I realized that other people might find this helpful so I turned the document into a guide and called it the SongMix Method.
The SongMix Method shows you how to use other song lyrics, themes and structures that are proven to have hit qualities and incorporate that built in massive appeal into your own music. Using this process can give you complete confidence that every time you sit down to write a song it will have the qualities of a hit.
Just to be clear, this is not a formula for writing unoriginal sounding or copycat tunes. However it is a way to make sure your song lyrics fit in with the style of really popular songs and a sure fire method for choosing top chord progressions. It's way easier to do than you might think but 99% of songwriters I know of just don't do it.
